Reading at home - Learning the first letters and sounds
 

This video shows how to use the Floppy Phonics reading books which we use when children begin our Reception classes.
Remember to:

• Point to the letter as you say the sound,

• Ask your child to say the sound and trace their finger over the letter,

• Ask your child to find that letter on the page,

• Read the word to your child and emphasise the sound you are learning.
